Developed by Embark Studios, ARC Raiders is a newly released extraction shooter available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X. Like most games in the genre, progression revolves heavily around looting, surviving dangerous zones, and extracting valuable materials. Whether you're upgrading weapons, crafting new gear, or chasing endgame builds, understanding where specific items drop can save you hours of ARC Raiders Coins frustration.
Why Spectrum Analyzers Matter
In ARC Raiders, most basic weapons and gear require standard gun parts to craft. However, once you start aiming for higher rarity weapons, those basic materials won't be enough. That's where Exodus Modules come into play.
Exodus Modules are a core crafting requirement for advanced weapons and gear. While they can occasionally be found as direct loot, a more consistent method of obtaining them is by recycling Spectrum Analyzers. As a result, Spectrum Analyzers are extremely valuable, especially for players trying to push into late-game content.
Although loot drops in ARC Raiders are largely random, certain ARCR Items are far more likely to appear in specific locations. Spectrum Analyzers are one of those items, and knowing where to search makes a massive difference.
Where to Find Spectrum Analyzers in ARC Raiders
Spectrum Analyzers are most commonly found in Exodus Points of Interest (POIs). These are special high-risk, high-reward locations tied to Exodus-related technology and materials.
Currently, Stella Montis is the only map in ARC Raiders that features Exodus POIs, making it the primary destination for farming Spectrum Analyzers. While the map is notoriously dangerous and PvP-heavy, it's also your best bet for finding the materials you need.
Below are the key Exodus POIs on Stella Montis where Spectrum Analyzers can spawn:
Assembly
Business Center
Medical Research
Metaforge
Each of these locations has a higher chance of spawning Exodus-related loot, including Spectrum Analyzers. While there's no guarantee you'll find one on every run, consistently looting these areas significantly increases your odds.
Understanding the Risk on Stella Montis
Stella Montis is widely considered one of the most dangerous maps in ARC Raiders. Not only is it a hotspot for PvP encounters, but it's also packed with deadly ARC enemies such as Pops, Fireballs, and Ticks. Even experienced players can get overwhelmed quickly if they're not careful.
Because of this, many players experience "gear fear" when attempting to farm Spectrum Analyzers. Losing a fully kitted loadout to either hostile players or aggressive AI can feel brutal, especially when you're just trying to secure crafting materials.
Fortunately, there's a clever workaround that minimizes risk while still letting you farm effectively.
The Naked Run Farming Strategy
If you're low on gear, short on confidence, or simply don't want to risk expensive equipment, there's an unconventional but effective strategy: going in naked.
This means entering Stella Montis without:
Weapons
Shields
Augments
Any valuable gear
When you deploy with an empty or near-empty loadout, you still retain access to your safe pocket. The goal is simple: sprint through Exodus POIs, search for Spectrum Analyzers, place them into your safe pocket, and then surrender or extract.
Since items stored in the safe pocket are not lost upon death or surrender, this strategy allows you to slowly accumulate Spectrum Analyzers without risking your inventory. It's especially useful if you're repeatedly getting eliminated by stronger players or overwhelmed by ARCR Items enemies.
