Walk up to the pole, use the prompt, then take a second to spot the hill, the wrecked house, and the cable heading south. That little pause saves a lot of wandering.
Start with the switch on the hill above the trap. It is close, though you will be visible while climbing, so use rocks and uneven ground instead of charging straight up the slope. After that, head for the ruined house. Plenty of players lose time inside because they expect a staircase. There isn't one worth using. Circle outside, climb from the generator or debris, and reach the upper level from the exterior. The second switch is there. Listen before you climb, because the building is good cover until somebody else is already waiting near its few exits.

From the house, drift back toward the central slope and find the cable coming off the EMP pole. Follow it south rather than searching the whole region. The third switch sits along that route near the road and vegetation. Keep the wire in view, but don't stare at it; this stretch is open and Raiders can spot you first. Once the third switch is off, return to the same pole where you began. This last interaction is the one people forget. If the tracker still says to shut down the EMP trap, you're not done yet.
The reward is 5 Medium Gun Parts and 3 Advanced Mechanical Components, which is decent for a short navigation job. Don't turn Victory Ridge into a long loot session unless the area sounds quiet. Machines and other Raiders tend to make the house and the pole awkward places to linger.
