If you are working your way through the "Discover Japan" completion checklist in Forza Horizon 6, you’ve probably noticed a landmark slot dedicated to the Radio Towers. Tracking this one down can be a little confusing because there are multiple sets of towers on the map, and one of them won't actually give you the achievement badge.

Here is exactly where to go, how to get there early if you don't want to wait, and how to avoid the common map mix-up that trips up a lot of players.

Location of the Radio Towers

The official Legend Island Radio Towers landmark is located dead center in the middle of Legend Island. It is a specific, required spot to check off the "Radio Towers" landmark for your Discover Japan completion.

How to Get There

Depending on how far you are in the campaign, you have two ways to reach this spot and claim the discovery credit:

  • The Standard Method: You have to play through the campaign until you unlock Legend Island naturally. This happens once you progress your way to the Gold Wristband, which is the 7th and final wristband in the game. Once you cross the bridge into Legend Island, just drive directly to the center of the landmass and the landmark achievement will automatically trigger.

  • The Early Exploration Glitch: If you don't want to wait until the end of the campaign to tick this off your checklist, you can bypass the wristband restriction entirely. Go into your Horizon Event Lab menu, select "Play Event", and search for Share Code 272 813 678. This custom blueprint will spawn your car directly onto Legend Island right next to the Radio Towers, giving you the Discovery credit early.

Don't Confuse Them with the Ohtani Towers

A lot of players end up driving around the wrong set of structures wondering why the badge isn't popping.

Be careful not to confuse the Legend Island landmark with the massive structural radio towers located in the northwest section of the Ohtani region. Those northern Ohtani towers are highly important for a different reason—they hold the clue you need for the 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE Treasure Car—but driving past them will do absolutely nothing for your FH6 Discovery page.
